Show Georgia State some love! Pictured: Mark Kassis (B.B.A. '89, M.S. '95) and Mary Kassis (Ph.D. '99) We fell in love when Mark was an undergrad at Georgia State University. We got married as Mary was starting her Ph.D. program at Georgia State. We’ve been together for more than 30 years now and giving to Georgia State, as a couple, has been a priority for us every year since we graduated. Our gifts are stronger together than individually. The transformation Georgia State has undergone since we were students has been truly amazing and we like to think about how the gifts we made each year—when combined with donations from thousands of other alumni and supporters—helped fuel this growth. Contributions from individual donors (and couples) make a huge difference every day in the lives of students, funding scholarships, faculty chairs and hands-on learning opportunities that help prepare them for a successful career.
