Georgia State University
Dear alumni,

On behalf of the entire Panther family, I want to express our hope that you and your family are healthy and safe.

In the midst of the coronavirus-related uncertainty and upheaval to everyone’s day-to-day lives, Georgia State’s coordinated response, and the commitment and grit of Georgia State students, faculty, researchers and staff, has been inspiring.

I want to share with you today a short video that highlights some of the remarkable work being done by the university and your fellow Panthers.
A still shot from a video on Georgia State's response to the coronavirus.
Please join President Mark Becker for a new weekly podcast he’ll host with Georgia State researchers and community members on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic.

The first episode will be livestreamed tomorrow, Thursday, April 23, at 12:30 p.m., and feature School of Public Health epidemiologist Gerardo Chowell, who is tracking and modeling the spread of the virus to inform policy decisions. View and listen to the live interview at president.gsu.edu/streaming.

We are living through history and face many future uncertainties, but we do so with the combined energies and talents of the entire Panther family. We’re here for you, our valued alumni. See more of the latest news or join online for a variety of virtual programs. Please contact us via email, Facebook, or Twitter.

Best,
Christina Million ‘00
