We’re kicking off Day 2 of Georgia State Day, and your support is critical! Every day, thousands of GSU students work to do their best in school while stressing over expenses — covering tuition or making ends meet. Your support on Georgia State Day can transform a student’s ability to face the financial demands of college. It can be the missing piece that gets them over a financial hurdle and helps them go the distance!
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 💡 Did You Know? When GSU students drop out or stop out, only 24% eventually graduate. Many stop out over financial balances of $300 or less. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
“I greatly appreciate the generosity of donors. Without Emergency Assistance Fund support, I would have dropped out of school to focus on generating income to survive.”
— Nyla Henderson (M.A. '23)
Your gift goes further — can even double — when you give to a challenge.

► There are dozens of challenges underway for you to unlock. View them all here.
Georgia State is a university for all, a place where all students can succeed. We’ve eliminated the achievement gap based on race and economic background — something conventional wisdom throughout higher education thought couldn’t be done! But each semester, eight out of 10 GSU students report some level of unmet financial need.
Donor support is a key factor in keeping students in school and on track. On Georgia State Day, your gift can help close financial gaps and uplift a Panther who in need. Will you answer the call, show you care and change the life of a Panther today?
