Hundreds of thousands of dollars are at stake, waiting to be unlocked in giving challenges that will boost almost every area of the university.  Georgia State Day is the time, Ellen, for us all to stand with the GSU community in showing Panthers we believe in their dreams enough to invest in them.  Panther potential is limitless – but it’s up to all of us to give this Georgia State Day and remove the financial barriers that limit their opportunities.   Join us April 2 or make your gift today. Georgia State Day 2025 has begun! Celebrate and uplift GSU students who are working toward — and achieving — big things. Your donations on Georgia State Day fuel the programs that help Panthers succeed. Your gift makes a difference. It really does. Make your Georgia State Day gift ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 💡 Did You Know? In 2024, tuition, fees, and state support covered less than two-thirds of the total cost of GSU students’ education. Support from donors like you helps make up the rest. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ “As an undergrad, I’ve had to work while managing school — sometimes almost full time, 38 hours a week. I wouldn’t be here in my last semester of my senior year without the help of the scholarships I’ve received.” — Mia Sabogal, Class of 2025 Your gift goes further — can even double — when you give to a challenge. Books 4 Panthers Provost Nicolle Parsons-Pollard will contribute $2 for every $1 given (up to $6,000). Help students afford books Panther Pantry 75 donors giving to the Pantry will unlock $3,000 to fight food insecurity. Help feed students Panther Retention If 50 donors support Panther Retention Grants, an additional $9,000 will be unlocked. Help Panthers stay in school ►  There are dozens of challenges underway for you to unlock. View them all here. Georgia State is a university for all and a national leader in student success. Though innovation, we’ve eliminated achievement gaps based on race and economic background. But more than half of all GSU students come from Pell-eligible households and nearly a quarter are the first in their family to go to college. This means that economic barriers for our students are widespread and often persistent. Nearly 80% of all GSU students each semester report some unmet financial need. When you donate on Georgia State Day, you remove barriers to Georgia State students’ achievement. GSU students achieve remarkable things; their potential is limitless. Let’s give them a hand!
