Downtown Fare After being introduced to vegetarian cuisine as a Georgia State student, Mai Duong (B.A.S. '08) is bringing her take on authentic Vietnamese dining to downtown Atlanta as the chef and co-owner of the new Pho King Express on Park Place. Duong learned to cook from her family, which fled to the U.S. when she was 13, and later honed her skills preparing meals for members of the Buddhist temple she joined in 2009. When choosing a location for her own restaurant, Duong knew she wanted to serve her "second home" at Georgia State. | |
