As a new fall semester begins, we've got lots to share and lots to celebrate. More than 53,000 students are studying at Georgia State this year — including the most qualified freshman class in university history. We were just ranked the No. 1 public university for undergraduate teaching by U.S. News & World Report. With quarterback Dan Ellington at the helm, the Panthers are now 2-0 after beating Tennessee and Furman to open the 2019 football season. Off campus, Atlanta's Summerhill neighborhood, home of Georgia State Stadium, is undergoing a dramatic resurgence. Members of the latest 40 Under 40 class, such as Delta Air Lines' Juanita Velez, are leading, inspiring and making a substantial impact on their fields. And what about you? Got a promotion?
