There’s never been a better time than now to be a Georgia State Panther. We’re growing in nearly every way imaginable and are a national model of student success. Not only are we ranked as the 4th Most Innovative University in the 2018 Best Colleges edition of U.S. News & World Report, but we are also one of the largest research universities in the nation.
Few universities have come so far, so fast. We are Burning Bright. Here at the College of Education & Human Development (CEHD), this year marks the 50th Anniversary of our college. In addition, Georgia State is heading into the final phase of our Burning Bright campaign, which has already been transformational. Campaign funding has enabled us to add seven endowed scholarships and two new Dean's Awards for deserving undergraduate and graduate students. We’ve also been able to grow and expand the offerings of our After-School All-Stars program, which serves 3,000 metro Atlanta middle-schoolers daily. Support so far has been tremendous, but we need your help to finish strong. We invite you to celebrate with us by becoming a 50th Anniversary Patron by giving to one of the following areas:
● CEHD Research, where our faculty and students engage in a range of research projects that generate knowledge, put theories into practice, and develop and evaluate policy. ● CEHD Student Success, where giving opportunities range from supporting students traveling internationallyand pursuing internships to engaging in scholarly research and training in the atlanta community. Provide opportunities for deserving students through the CEHD Dean’s Scholarship Fund. ● CEHD Fund for Innovation and Engagement, the fund that provides the college with the resources needed to retain and recruit the brightest students and faculty, and invest in new and innovative research.
Showing your support with a gift to the College of Education & Human Development this year will help us continue our legacy and ensure our future remains Burning Bright.
