WooHOO! Okay, so sorry for the delay but I had to extract vital info from various parties:)

Since you are coming in Thursday early evening, we'd love to twist your arms to drive from the Greensboro airport up to Durham (it'd take you half an hour to get into downtown g'boro anyway and it'll take you an hour to get to us from g'boro—very easy drive), then you could have a later dinner at our house and come back over Friday for breakfast and to hang out too (or we can show you some Durham sights). You don't need to be back in Greensboro until the rehearsal dinner at 5:30 or 6:00 and it'd be much nicer for you to hang here than in Greensboro—and selfishly I'd love to have you in our midst for a little extra time. And I'll try to get Nancy over while you are here.

I would love to ask you to sleep here too but given college kids are coming home I think you'd be more comfortable in a hotel with a comfy bed. I am attaching three recommendations—if you want upscale and trendy we have some great spots downtown but given you won't be there much I'd go with one of these more economical alternatives. They are all near our house and decent—my favorite and the closest is Residence Inn by Marriott (it's new and very nice). The Hilton Garden Inn is nice too. The La Qunita is quite a deal, not as nice but Scott's folks stayed there recently instead of their usual and it was okay.

I will be back in touch with my thoughts for Greensboro, where I'd recommend you spend Friday Saturday nights (we will also at least Saturday). I'm also trying to put together a plan for us to go out Saturday night as the wedding is at 1:00. Nina & Terri might join us but I imagine they'll be fried by then.
